We help you to help yourself

What we do for gamblers

If you think you have a problem with gambling, we can assess your gambling problem online. We have various options you can take from there, depending on how severe your problem is and what you would prefer to do.

We have online brief advice to help ensure your life becomes more balanced again. You could do this in a matter of days,  and from then on it would take your discipline to maintain the steps you put in place.

If you have more of a problem, we provide a 2 week self help course to help you to stop gambling, with reading, videos, and exercises to do. This is designed to be done with a befriender, someone objective outside of your immediate circles. We provide befrienders through local churches across the UK. The course itself is non-religious.

What we do for family and friends

Family and friends can often be worried when a loved one is gambling too much. You may not know how to help them overcome their gambling addiction. It may be a difficult time for you, and you may need support of your own.

Our online brief advice is packed with advice and encouragement, and is available immediately at no cost to you.

Does it work?

Our materials are written by experts in addiction, and involved people with personal experience of overcoming gambling addiction. They have a large and credible evidence base. In short, they are based on the concepts of: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Enhancement Therapy, Node Link Mapping, Guided Self Help, and Befriending. But don't just take our word for it:

I gained from the course more of an understanding of the problem I have faced throughout my life and have now got the belief to beat it.

You have given me an opportunity to make myself a better person and I am going to take it.
